Backend Developer

Job Description:

• 3+ years of experience in Laravel, PHP frameworks such as CI/CakePHP/Yii/Symphony
• 3+ years of experience in server-side web application logics & integrations
• Experience building WordPress websites
• Good understanding of modern standards-based HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS)
• Expertise in JavaScript coding skills, jQuery & AJAX
• Knowledge of advanced PHP concepts, MySQL, JSON, XML & ability to work in a LAMP/WAMP environment
• Knowledge of DB & code security along with basic server operations like Curl, Crud, cPanel
• Ability to work in agile methodologies & version control (Git, SVN, Bitbucket, etc.) & multiple OS (Unix/Linux/Windows)
• Knowledge of automation toolkit like Gulp & NPM
• Knowledge of SEO optimization
• Ability to do Unit testing
• Jumping on a call with clients to understand the requirement and profile them the right solution, helping formulate an effective solution and turning it into a working application
• Conducting website performance and unit tests
• Heavy involvement in the requirements gathering, development and operational stages of new projects
• Troubleshoot and debug related application defects with existing and new applications
• Work collaboratively with the frontend team and other team members, train other members and get trained if required
